Job Description:

Opportunity for a Data Science practitioner with 3+yrs of hands on experience in statistical model development leveraging advanced analytics & machine learning techniques., Pune

Job Description:

• Requirement gathering from client & suggesting analytical solutions/approach for implementation
• Collaborate with Data Architects/Database programmers
• Data Extraction from EDW/Big Data Platform, Dataset Preparation (creation of base data, aggregation, transformation), performing EDA
• Statistical model (predictive & prescriptive) development on R Studio using various statistical & machine learning techniques/algorithms
• Test/train the model, Improve Model accuracy, Monitor model performance
• Prepare client consumable presentations with actionable insights for data driven decision making
• Make client presentations & engage with internal/external stakeholders in collaborative data science project management

Technical Skills: [Hands on exposure with R, SQL, MS Excel]

• Practical / Hands-on expert level experience in R / R Studio.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL
• Experience of developing >5 statistical models across projects inclusive of machine learning models
• Must have practical knowledge of various statistical model development techniques like below

o   Regression Models – Linear & Logistic

o   Customer profiling, segmentation & Clustering (Kmeans, hierarchical)

o   Decision Tree & Random Forest

o   Time Series forecasting

o   Neural Network & Bayesian Network

o   Factor Analysis/Principal Component

o   Advanced algorithms like XGBoost, KNN, SVM etc. (Good to have)

Preferred Edu Qual.: BE, Btech, BE+MBA, MSc Statistics, MA Economics, MCA with relevant experience
