The Opportunity

To complement our rapid growth, we are actively sourcing for several bright and talented Senior Backend Software Engineers to join our growing Technology team. In this role, you will work with a team of outstanding engineers impacting the growth of renewable energy through building e-commerce and financial services applications. Additionally, you will also have a strong understanding of Java, JVM internals, architecting robust J2EE applications, and functional programming with Scala (Scala - nice to have, not mandatory).

Customer is switching the requirement to senior sw engineer profile with three mandatory skills – (1) Java (2) API Management/ Microservices (3) AWS / Azure /GCP.

We will assume experience range between 8 to 10 years; at the max 11 years; not more than that. I have put customer requirements in attached document

Your day-to-day

• Create robust, highly scalable features for our platform services
• Constantly look for ways to improve application performance and user experience
• Write unit tests, perform peer code reviews
• Work directly with product managers to define new application features
• Full participation in the Agile process centered around a weekly Sprint process.

What you bring to the team

• 8+ years of experience building financial services or eCommerce applications with Java and/or Scala
• Strong experience with API and Microservices (using Java)
• Experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS (or Azure or GCP)
• Strong SQL skills and experience in RDBMs.
• BS in Computer Science or a related discipline
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Utmost attention to detail

Bonus Points

• Experience with distributed systems, micro-services
• Experience building mission critical systems in the financial services or consumer lending industry
• Experience developing in a high traffic, consumer Internet environment
