Job Description:

Work location: Khopoli

Interview: F2F / Skype  only on Mondays

A medium size Steel wire processing unit manufacturing steel wires for Fastener industry is looking for a person to head their Quality Assurance Department. The position is at company’s plant at Khopoli in Maharashtra.

Qualification:

Degree / Diploma in Metallurgy from a recognised institute with minimum 5 years’ experience

In Quality Assurance department of Fastener wire manufacturing or Fastener manufacturing unit.

Functions:

1. Physical testing of incoming raw materials, in process material, and outgoing finish goods.
2. Chemical analysis of raw materials and processing chemicals.
3. Metallography
4. Daily monitoring of manufacturing processes / heat treatment standards and suggesting corrective actions in case of any internal rejections or deviations.
5. Analysis of in Customer complaints and resolution of the same through corrective and preventive actions, statistical process control and customer visits.
6. Activities related to all Quality Standards such as ISO, QS, and TS etc.
